This blogging site is an organized, on line repository where are members are free to publish articles, newsletters, press releases, white papers, and promotions. Although this may seem to be an absolutely monumental and perhaps chaotic endeavor, this concept is simply the application of a very common and current Internet phenomenon-the blog.
Our blog hosting software allows members to sign up and quickly click through the steps for creating their own blogging website. Using their login and password, they can now publish entries into their blog sites with a very simple and easy to use interface.
As the members produce content into their blogs, each individual article is actually stored in a central database. Over time, this database becomes a repository for all of the content produced by the business community. This is important because the content or data can be organized, archived, and made searchable.
In fact, the purpose of this blogging site is not simply to have the individual blog websites for the members, but a way to have one grand master web portal that pulls up the articles from all of the member blogs in an organized way. It is temporal in the sense that once the email goes out, it can only be kept alive by happenchance-someone actually forwards it on. Regardless, the email communication is either deleted or buried.
